Jose Ramon Ventura, 24, was arrested in connection with his involvement in a November 2023 homicide.
Ventura is charged with accessory after the fact for driving and transporting two people who police believe responsible for the shooting death of Orlando Alexander Satz, Jr., 20.
Satz Jr. died on Nov. 28, 2023, after crashing his car into a parked vehicle on Spruell Drive, according to Montgomery County Police. At that time, neighbors heard the crash and removed Satz, Jr. from the car and provided aid until Montgomery County Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the scene.
The rescue workers noticed apparent gunshot wounds on Satz, Jr., according to police. His death is being investigated as a homicide.
Police said they identified Ventura as the driver of a black Honda Civic that two suspects entered after the shooting.
Police took Ventura into custody on Thursday. He is being held without bond at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit.
